Hellooooo San Franciscooooo!

Ive been here for about a week so far, and its been beautiful!  I spent Easter with LeAnne's family, then on Monday got my back tattooed for about 2 1/2 hrs.  Im still a bit sore, but cant wait to get another sitting in!  Tim leaves next week for Europe so Im just crossing my fingers that he can squeeze me in again before he leaves.  

My flight for the next tour is being booked and that starts May 1st in Alabama and we have all new merch ready to go! Im super stoked!

I really am terrible with this... but the tour went really well.  Shinedown are keeping me with them and the next tour starts May 1st.  Im not going to be with Mastodon on their tours which is a bummer but Shinedown are good dudes and they gave me an offer that I would be stupid to pass up.  We had 3 days in NYC and I met a lot of people from the label and management that seem to be happy with what Ive been doing.  Im in CT right now, I'm on my 4th/5th week of that online school and its going really well.  A lot of it I already knew just from my own research and reading but its awesome the way they present it so it stays in my memory better.  Im going to San Francisco again on Saturday to get my back worked on some more... Im not sure how long Im gonna be there but it should be a good time :)

Cincinnati, OH

Today we're at Bogarts.  So far the tour has been going really well.  All the shows but one have been sold out so far and merchandise has been keeping me pretty busy.  I seem to have found my routine so now it only takes a couple hours to load in and set up and then I have time before doors to hang out and relax.  Ive turned into the tour stylist by default too, straightening hair and helping pick out clothes haha.  

I was feeling super run down this weekend, havent been sleeping more than 5 hours, so on the day off in Cleveland and I treated myself to a hot stone massage, took the time to sweat out whatever was bothering me in the sauna, and have been making it a point to eat a little better.  Being vegan on this tour is a little harder since the runners go out and get food every day and even though I write down specifically what I want, it comes back all wrong.  Maybe thats got something to do with it.  

Day off in Raleigh

So far all the dudes are super nice and sweet to me. The first couple shows have been alright, nothing too crazy... were all just still trying to get into the swing of things. Today was a day off while the guys did some radio thing. I had lunch, then walked to the vitamin shop to pick up a couple things. We went to some mall and ate at cheesecake factory. I feel like a slob. Im gonna pick up my things here then head to the bus and go to bed.

Long day.

Last night was sad.  Im going to miss the snuggles and the pets a lot.  We had to wake up at 5 am to get me to Ontario airport by 6 for my 7am flight.  We got there with no problem, I kinda slept on the plane, but you know how that goes.  Its not real sleep.  I landed in Nashville around 2pm, and came straight to the practice space where my lovely merchandise boxes were waiting for me.  Every item in the boxes was enclosed in a plastic bag without labels on them so when I went to look for the size it wasnt anywhere to be seen.  I had to rip open most the bags to get the merch out and separate everything by size so I could count them for the inventory.  Im so over it hahaha.  My wrists hurt pretty bad, from straining the muscles so much, and I am sooooo tired.  Im not sure what time we come back here to finish up, but I cant work in the truck right now.  Its all cold and rainy outside.  

I cant wait to get to the hotel and sleep.

Last day in CA.

I spent today packaging edible body shimmer for Trevors roommate, Mitch. His grandparents own an adult novelty warehouse/distributor specializing in erotic edibles. I came in last week to make some extra cash and packaged edible undies to be shipped out, and today I helped on the line by putting that little screen thing in the top of the passionfruit body shimmer. Let me just say that every time I see edible undies and body shimmer, I will have a new appreciation for the work that goes into it hahaha
